A lot of gamers who have purchased Foreign Legions: Bucket of Blood seem to have difficulty finding the minigun. This is the only weapon that you do not possess at the start of the game and which does not get ammo refills from the air-dropped ammo crate.

Stop searching people! The answer is deceptively simple: the minigun is not a regular pickup in the map, but is air-dropped in along with the repair and ammo crates. You should clearly see the third parachute in between the two, that is further towards the enemy spawn (the left spawn when viewing from the town hall).

Keep in mind that you will need to request a resupply and pick up the minigun again once you run out of ammo. It does not refill when you pick up an ammo crate!

This is the minigun drop point!

This is the minigun drop point!

The location it drops in makes it fairly useless at the start of a game, but towards the end – when times between waves lengthen – you can pick it up rather safely and still get back in position to wreak havoc and defend your villagers. The minigun does not make you heavier or slower, so you can run back just as fast as if you were carrying your pistol.

It’s counted as part of your inventory once you pick it up, so it does not drop if you swap weapons or run out of ammo.

The minigun is one kick-ass weapon and it’ll certainly give you another round or two of fun in Foreign Legion. It doesn’t make the game any longer, but it’s a good bit of fun anyway.

Oh and it always falls in the same location, just like the ammo and repair crates. There’s no need to worry about finding it once you call for supplies.

Ok, Ive figured out that it is air dropped. But I only get the ammo and the repair, why would that be?
