Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood (by Sakari Indie) is a newly released third-person shooter with LEGO-inspired design, but decidedly mature level of violence. It may not be the most visually impressive game, but its stylized design makes it good source material for some nice shots of ‘cartoony’ violence.
Gunning down rebels while defending the local villagers is also a rather entertaining past-time, albeit quite short-lived. With its single, 10 minute, level – Foreign Legion is not the most easily recommended title, but it still ranked in a commendable Try Before You Buy rating in last week’s review. Perhaps the coming DLC might make this a more attractive indie game at its current price point.
