Guild Wars 2 was announced more than 2 years ago, but it’s been only a few days since ArenaNet finally decided to reveal an impressive trailer and some actual gameplay information. I wrote up a comprehensive preview this weekend, which covers just about everything that’s know of the game thus far.

But now that we know some of what to expect; I wonder what your opinions are. So I’ve launched a poll asking the question “Are You Pumped for Guild Wars 2?”.

Are you ready to play right now? Or would you rather just go and play the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion pack? Or maybe you don’t really know yet…

Whichever it is, there’s an option for you to choose from in this week’s poll. It’s over there, in the right sidebar!

Distribute the knowledge:

Nothing happens when I click the “Vote” button or “View Results” link. Internet Explorer reports “object expected” error on line 275.

Hmm, I tried and failed to replicate your problem in IE (7 and 8). Perhaps you have Javascript turned off?

But thanks for the notice! Thanks to you I found a bug for ‘view results’ in Internet Explorer. Turns out (only) that browser has issues with it that prevents results from showing.

All problems should be fixed now, provided you have Javascript turned on. It’s been tested in Firefox, Chrome, Safari, IE8 and IE7. If you’re using IE6: update.

No, didn’t turn on or change anything but it is working now. :)

Ah, sweet, then it worked :)

    Thanks for the heads up!
