This month a lot of quality (and less impressive) games have been published, I count no less than 12. That’s not exactly commonplace for September, which ordinarily serves as a mere prelude for what’s to come. Hopefully that holds true in this case as well.
In an odd move three multi-platform games were delayed for PC only: Borderlands, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (as of yet not entirely confirmed) and Assassin’s Creed 2. The latter has even been pushed as far back as 2010!
Anyway, so what follows is a list of release dates for upcoming PC games. Note that these are (mostly) European release dates, which will occasionally differ from release dates in other territories by a couple of days, weeks, or even months. E.g.: Dragon Age arrives a few days earlier in North America, and Divinity 2 a few months later.
If you happen to know of any further confirmed release dates for promising PC games, then by all means: leave a comment.

Released last month:
- Aion
You can find me on Kahrun (EU-ENG) server as Aeroth. I’ve conjured up 10 reasons why Aion will remain a popular MMORPG here. - Batman: Arkham Asylum
I liked the demo, but have yet to buy the full version. It’s been getting awesome review scores all over the place, so by all means: go get it! - Fallen Earth
- F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn
A brilliant continuation of the F.E.A.R. storyline in preparation of the next game in the franchise. A must-have for fans, like me. - Left 4 Dead: Crash Course DLC
- Majesty 2
Brilliant sequel. Has some flaws, but overall very enjoyable. I’ve written down my thoughts of the demo here. - Mini Ninjas
It’s out and it’s… pretty good. Mostly what I expected it to be. - Nation Red
I played this game and found it to be absolutely terrible. Walk away! - Need for Speed Shift
- Order of War
- Red Faction: Guerrilla
- Resident Evil 5
- Risen
Actually released in October, but it’s prior to this posting so… been getting pretty good scores. Definitely better (less buggy) than Gothic 3. - Section 8
- Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes
- Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 3: Lair of the Leviathan
- Twin Sector
