It’s been a while since the last poll started, so today comes its replacement which asks: “Which consoles do you own?”.
Some of you may be purists and game exclusively on the PC, but I’m certain that many of you actually do own one or more consoles on the side. The amount of console exclusives that aren’t released on PC is rather slim nowadays, but sometimes those strictly controlled and underperforming machines do have their uses. As was the case last month with the release of free-roaming wild west action game Red Dead Redemption.

Last month’s poll – it’s been too long – asked whether or not you were looking forward to StarCraft 2.
Interestingly it’s not quite as convincing an outcome as I’d expected, with ‘Yes’ only racking in 58% of the votes. Many people in the gaming community may see StarCraft 2 as the grand second coming of a gaming classic, but clearly a lot of gamers aren’t quite so convinced about this upcoming real-time strategy game.
After many dozens of hours of experience with the beta I can heartily recommend it to any fan of fast-paced strategy games, so hopefully a few of the uncertain crowd will be charmed by its gameplay come release day. It has certainly knocked Mass Effect 2 from the top of my Game of the Year candidates list.
