The Alliance Tournament is an annual event in EVE Online where 64 teams face off against each other in a strict tournament format dictated by CCP. It’s also accompanied by high definition video footage with commentary for every match in the tournament, which can make for great viewing even if you’re not an active EVE Online player.
So I’ve decided to compile a collection of the best matches each weekend, which started with last weekend’s first qualifier round. This weekend the second qualifiers were played, with the point total between both qualifiers determining who progresses on to the next round scheduled for June 19th and 20th. There’s been no word yet on who has made it through, but at least the matches are up on CCP’s YouTube channel.

Probably the most expensive match you’ll see all tournament.

A crazy Caldari-blasterfit makes for an awesome showing by Dystopia Alliance!
AAA vs Rote Kapelle
Very intense and close match that’s totally worth watching.
HYDRA RELOADED vs Old Intentions.
Bigger is not always better in EVE Online and this match perfectly demonstrates why that is so.
