After a little over two weeks it’s time for a new poll and this time the question is: “Which MMOG are you most looking forward to?”
There are a lot of upcoming MMOGs, so I’ve included those that I feel are the most likely contestants. If your favorite isn’t included then feel free to drop a comment and I’ll add it to the bottom of the poll, which is organised alphabetically for now. It’s not possible to vote for multiple MMOGs, so you’ll have to make a difficult decision and select the one you’re looking forward to above all else.
I haven’t limited the list in any form, so there are MMOGs in there that are years away from launch (Dark Millennium Online), as well as those that just have a few weeks of testing left to go (All Points Bulletin). The selection is also a mixture of pay-to-play and free-to-play titles, with pay-to-play being in the majority mostly due to the higher quality standard associated with that type of MMOG.

In the previous poll I asked you which consoles you owned, if any. It was a multiple choice poll so the results will be handled a little differently from normal. The percentages used are not based on the total votes, but the total voters. So the total amount of votes is irrelevant to these percentages, but rather the total amount of voters makes up the 100%.
The result was quite surprising, with the Xbox 360 platform coming out in a firm lead over all others with no less than 53% of the voters owning a Xbox 360. Also curious was the number 2, which ended up being the PlayStation 2 (38%) over the PlayStation 3 (35%). The rest was more as expected, although I do have to note that a whopping 23% are PC purists and 10% actually own a Dreamcast.
Still, it would seem that a great majority of PC gamers has a preference for Microsoft’s other platform over any other console. I suppose that may be down to the Xbox 360 exclusives being a little more PC-like and the few PS3 exclusives generally being more console-centric games. Either way it’s an interesting result and thanks for voting!
